Perfect Timing Music Studio offers music lessons to all ages and all skill levels. Children ages 3 and up, as well as adults and seniors, are welcome. Students are trained in music fundamentals including performance, music reading and theory, and technique. We have an intimate, family-like atmosphere conducive to a relaxed learning environment. We offer annual recitals that are held in November.
Lesson Calendar
Lessons are offered throughout the year, the Lesson Year, which runs from September to August. Fall Semester is from September to February; Spring Semester is from March to August. Students may enroll at any time and tuition will be prorated.
Weekly lessons are offered throughout the year, with the exception of 8 weeks. The flat rate tuition is adjusted to include 8 unpaid weeks of lesson reserved for the teachers
to cancel for: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Independence Day and as needed, any time, for any reason, including other holidays, vacations, illness emergencies and personal events that may come up throughout the year. Specific days/weeks off are announced at the beginning of each semester and throughout
the year.
In the rare event the teachers offer less than 44 weeks lessons due to additional teacher absences during the year, the option of extended, makeup or credited lessons will
be offered.
There are 2 free lessons offered to each student during the Lesson Year, September through August. The flat rate tuition has been adjusted to include 2 unpaid weeks of lessons reserved for the student to cancel for any reason, including school holidays, vacations, illness, emergencies and personal events that may come up throughout the year. The student may choose to take these 2 additional weeks of lessons free of charge, or miss them if necessary.
Student Tuition
Similar to an academic education, a musical education is a regular and long-term commitment, as well as an investment and expense. All fees and tuition are pre-paid as a flat fee, per student, and non-refundable. Similar to school tuition, music lesson tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance, and will not be prorated or credited for lessons missed by the student during any time in the semester.
Tuition is split into two equal semester payments per year and prepaid as a flat fee to reserve an exclusive weekly time slot on the teacher's schedule. Tuition reserves your child(ren)'s exclusive lesson time throughout the Lesson Year, whether s/he attends or not. Tuition covers not only face time with the student during weekly lessons, but also time spent in preparation of lessons, including individual lesson planning, research and development of teaching materials and curriculum, selecting, locating and purchasing specific music for the student, addressing any concerns or conflicts that may arise, scheduling and communicating with the student and parent outside of lessons.

Perfect Timing offers private, one-on-one instruction which ensures that every student receives personalized individualized attention. Lessons are a minimum of 30 minutes, once a week, four times a month. Longer and/or more frequent lessons are recommended for more advanced students and those preparing for a performance.
Group Lessons
Group lessons are offered for piano and guitar instruction. Weekly group lessons are just under 1 hour and unlike other schools that comprise of 10-12 students per group, our groups are 5-6 students at most. The group dynamic encourages a spirit of healthy competition which provides a motivating factor but in a more relaxed environment. Group classes provide an opportunity to collaborate and communicate with others, creating a sense of teamwork.
Online Lessons
With online lessons, you may learn music in the comfort of your home from any where in the world. Besides the obvious convenience of no travel time, there's more flexibility in scheduling, as well as being more relaxed in your own space and using your own instrument. You will need a smart phone, tablet, or computer and wifi connection which can be set up in minutes.
Lessons Schedule
Time slots are available on a first come, first-served basis. Please select your lesson schedule carefully as our teachers' schedules are almost full and it is difficult, though not impossible, to make changes.
